The two-stage Project Pegasus for Qantas Airways Limited involves refurbishing the existing jet maintenance facility, and the construction of a new facility. Working closely with the airline, we completed the first stage airside at Melbourne Airport – a unique experience that involved demolitions, services upgrades and structural steel improvements. We finalised the architectural, services, and structural design from an initial concept pack and managed the entire authority approval process for both stages. The new hangar will be built alongside the refurbished facility.
