Fostering innovation and enhancing connectivity

A physical manifestation of its commitment to sustainability and community engagement, the Bank Australia HQ is a sleek, efficient, and acoustically optimised environment tailored precisely to meet the unique needs of the boutique financial institution.

Transforming levels 10, 11 & 12 of the distinguished 5-star NABERS Energy building in the inner-Melbourne suburb of Collingwood into a state-of-the-art workspace was a collaborative effort between Hunter Mason, Hames Sharley Projects and Turner & Townsend. The finished space reflects this spirit of collaboration and innovation, most visibly with a striking curved central staircase spanning two floors and physically connecting the 350 employees.

The office’s cork flooring, suspended ceilings and variety of work settings are designed to foster innovation and enhance connectivity. High-level acoustics were a priority, ensuring optimal sound quality and privacy through the integration of advanced materials and strategic placement.

With construction completed over just five months, the success of the Bank Australia HQ Workspace Fitout project is a testament to the unwavering dedication and expertise of the teams involved.
