The Abacus head office relocation was an accelerated 12-week design and construct programme, condensed from 16 weeks. Hunter Mason delivered a complete demolition and refurbishment to create an adaptable, modern workplace. Located at 77 Castlereagh Street, the project marked the beginning of the asset’s uplift from B Grade to A Grade, reflecting Abacus Group’s vision to “Invest for your future & Create spaces for now.” From appointment of the ECI, Hunter Mason undertook detailed site investigations and led targeted value engineering to ensure cost certainty and minimise disruption.
